Lighting of the Advent Candle
DECEMBER 1, 8, 15, & 22 at 10:15 am
Each week during worship, a family group lights an advent candle in anticipation of Christ’s birth. Join us as we prepare for the birth of Jesus. You can also livestream worship.
On Sunday, December 22 during worship, join a participatory Christmas pageant and be part of the Christmas story!
Advent Activities
BRING HOPE through the ANGEL Tree, Nov. 10 - Dec. 2
Choose an ornament from the Narthex tree, buy gifts for children in need, and bring hope to families served by Presbyterian Children’s Homes & Services.
PRACTICE FAITH DAILY THROUGH AN ADVENT CALENDAR
Choose from two Advent calendars available in the Narthex. Each day in December, wonder around the word of the day by capturing a photo or coloring in a new shape on a quilt design.
ADVENT STUDIES FOR ADULTS AND FAMILIES
Adults: Join Pastor Elizabeth and others online to explore our weekly Advent Devotional together on Mondays at 6 pm. Register and pick up a devotional book in the Narthex.
Youth Families: Join an Advent Bible Study with Pastor Sarah on Wednesdays at 6 pm.
CELTIC CHRISTMAS Concert, SATURDAY, December 7 at 7:30 pm

All are invited to Carols & Cookies! Bring cookies to share and sing Christmas carols in the Narthex. Bring new or gently used blankets for Central Presbyterian’s Neighbors Program.

Christmas Eve Services - 5 pm & 8 pm
CandleLIGHT LESSONS AND CAROLS
Join us for a traditional service of candlelight, lessons, and carols. Listen to the familiar words of scripture that foretell and proclaim the birth of Jesus. Sing the carols that help us tell that story with special music from the sanctuary choir, handbells, and brass. Invite a friend! Nursery care will not be provided. All ages are welcome in worship. You can also livestream the services.
