The goal of youth ministry at First Presbyterian Church is to provide opportunities for youth to grow in their relationship with God and one another through fellowship, mission, prayer, study, and worship within the context of a welcoming and loving environment of peers and caring adults.

Youth in grades 6 through 12 are always welcome!

Sunday Schedule

Sunday School, 10:00am, breakfast provided!

• Middle School: "Spice Rack" Bible Studies, Youth Suite. 
• High School: "Exploring the Old Testament," Youth Suite.
   

Youth Fellowship, 5:30-7:30pm

All youth will eat dinner together and play together.  Then, middle school and high school youth will have time for separate events.  Special youth fellowship events include mission projects, fellowship opportunities with other youth groups, and study.  Youth Fellowship ends with prayer "candle time" each week.

January: Epiphany Party; Confirmation begins for 8th graders

February: Beginning February 14, Jr. High (6-8th) meet Sundays, 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the Youth Suite. Sr. High (9-12th) study and snacks, 4:30-6 p.m. in Lower Nelson. All eat together at 6 p.m. in the Youth Suite.

1/31- Design church T-shirt and tie-dye extravaganza! Bring item to tie-dye and T- shirt ideas.

2/7- All Youth Super Bowl Party at the Moy’s house, 5-8:30 p.m., 4507 Cat Mountain 78731.

2/14- Valentines Ministry

2/16- All Youth Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper. Youth cook and clean. 5-9 p.m.

2/21- JH Devotionals and HS Devotionals. Both groups bring your favorite song on I-pod or CD to share.

2/28- All Youth Human Sexuality Retreat Part II at University Presbyterian Church. Worship with UPC at 11 a.m., Retreat and Lunch 12:30-2:30 p.m. Pick up and Drop off at UPC, 2203 San Antonio St. 78705. Youth are encouraged to attend even if they missed the fall portion. April 4 - Easter Sunday, No Youth Fellowship

April 11- 2:30-4 p.m., Youth Sunday Music Rehearsal, Sanctuary

April 11- Youth Sunday Finalization

Saturday, April 17- Youth Sunday Dress Rehearsal 2:30-4:30 p.m., Sanctuary

April 18- YOUTH SUNDAY! Arrive at 7:45 a.m., worship at 8:45 a.m., breakfast at 10 a.m., worship at 11:15 a.m.

April 25– Third Annual Ultimate Frisbee Tournament with UPC! 5-7 p.m. Meet at Pease Park at 5 p.m.!
