Adventures with the Holy Spirit

As followers of Jesus, we know and trust that the Holy Spirit is with us wherever we go. One of the symbols of the Spirit is the dove - the dove that brought an olive branch back to Noah and his family to show that there was dry land, the dove that descended on Jesus when he was baptized in the Jordan River.

Wherever you travel this summer, the Spirit of God travels with you. Take this symbol of a dove to remind you of God’s Spirit … to summer camp, to the beach, to the movies, to your grandparents’ house. Take pictures with the dove to share how the Spirit is moving in your life!

  1. Download and print your dove on card stock or pick up a template in the church Narthex beginning June 9.

  2. Be creative! Decorate your dove however you would like.

  3. Bring your dove with you this summer and start snapping pictures!

  4. When you take a picture and share it on social media, use the hashtag #fpcaustin. You may also email pictures to

  5. Most importantly, talk with family and friends about what you have experienced this summer. Pray for those that you meet on your adventures and offer encouragement and love.
