FPDS NewsAdministrative InformationCurrent Fees for 2005/2006 ClassesClasses are offered for children who are 18 months through 5 years as of September 1st. Our classes occupy six physical classrooms. The class divisions are as follows: Young Twos Mon/Weds or Tues/Thurs Twos Mon/Weds or Tues/Thurs Threes Mon/Weds/Fri or Tues/Thurs Fours/Pre-K Mon/Weds/Fri or Tues Fri Depending upon demand and demographics, our pre-K classes may be scheduled as 3-day, 4-day or 5-day classes. Note: All classes are lead by 2 adults
A one-time Supply Fee is due in September. Fees are as follows: $55 for 2 day students, $85 for 3 day students, and $115 for 4 day students. Fee may be made in 2 payments. RegistrationStudent registration occurs in February for the upcoming school year. Students will be notified of acceptance or wait list position by April. Wait list applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Please stop by the school during school hours (9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) for a tour of our program. General InformationCHRISTIAN EDUCATION occurs on an informal basis as a part of daily staff/child interaction. Chapel is available weekly for all students. We encourage parents to join us in chapel in our church sanctuary to listen to our weekly bible story. MUSIC AND MOVEMENT TIME is offered weekly in each class. This consists of movement, singing, rhyming and rhythm activities. LUNCH AND SNACK TIME Parents take turns providing snack for their child(ren)’s class. Lunch is sent by the parents. We encourage healthy, nutritious foods and discourage high fat, sugar and salt content. LATE STAY Currently, late stay is offered from 1:00 2:30 p.m each day. You may sign up by the day, month, semester or year. Cost is $10.00 per child per day. Extra-curricular classes may be offered after school hours during the year, such as music, dance and drama. PARENT INVOLVEMENT - All of our classes have 2 teachers. Our parents may take training to substitute in the classrooms in the event of teacher absences. Parent participation is also encouraged to enhance our programming in the areas of cooking, readers, storytellers, exposure to new cultures and traditions, and enthusiastic involvement in parent education and school fundraisers. We feel that a family presence builds healthy relationships inside and outside of our school.
