Children and Families

We can't wait to meet you and your children this week! We pledge to provide a loving and safe environment for your children to learn about God’s love for them.

Sunday School

Children’s Sunday School is from 10-11 AM each Sunday morning in Rissman Hall. Children ages 2 and younger are welcome in the nursery during the Sunday School hour.

FIRST KIDS
A warm, caring atmosphere telling old stories in a new way.

• Pre-K (3 and 4 year olds) - Green Room, Rissman Hall
• Kindergarden and First Grade - Blue Room, Rissman Hall

KIDZONE – (2nd through 5th grade)- Multipurpose Room, Rissman Hall

Using the “We Believe” Rotation-Model curriculum, children learn the Scripture stories through storytelling, art, science, games and cooking!

FPC CHILDREN’S CHOIR- “Youthful Praise”, led by Mike Rosensteel and Lauris Blackwell

Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to sing in the choir which meets during the 11:15 worship service in Room 221/223.

Nursery Care

Every Sunday from 8:45 a.m - 12:15 p.m. in our Sanctuary Building, we have outstanding childcare in our two nursery rooms for children age 2 and under as of September 1st. Our nursery workers are trained and qualified. Parents attending worship and/or Sunday School may request a discreet pager to be notified if they are needed.

During the Sunday School hour, toddlers will hear Bible stories and songs and do related arts and crafts activities.

We do not provide food for the infants and toddlers in the nursery. If staying longer than two hours, please consider bringing a light snack and/or a drink for your child. We will be happy to serve your child's snack to him/her upon request. Also, make sure to bring an extra diaper if needed.
